KickFit Children's Programme

Little Champions Programme (4 - 6 year old)

This program offers children a great start in learning the martial arts. Students can graduate at 6 years old from Little Champions into the regular Junior program to earn their Black Belt. The Little Champions program offers children a strong foundation in essential character qualities such as:

  • respect

  • courtesy

  • discipline

In addition the program will:

  1. improve children’s motor skills
  2. enhance their ability to pay attention and follow directions
  3. teach children how to have a positive attitude

We use the martial arts approach to building their skills through fun drills. The approach includes reinforcing good discipline, displaying confidence and maintaining a positive attitude.

What to Expect

Each 30 minute class is taught using the safest, most fun and exciting instructional techniques. Class size is kept small to ensure each student receives individual attention from the instructor. Only positive reinforcement is used to grow self-confidence along with a merit sticker system to reward good behaviour, focus and technique. Instructors for these classes receive additional skills training.

Junior Programme (6 years - teen)

What role model is your child following?

Do they project a strong, confident and healthy lifestyle?

The Junior programme will teach your child fun and exciting martial arts skills along with effective self-defence and anti-bullying skills.

The second part of the program concentrates on character development and mutual respect for all. There are four monthly themes which are discussed during the class:

  • self-discipline

  • good manners

  • self-control

  • good habits

Observing Your Child

Parents are always welcome and urged to observe the training classes. In this aspect, we feel confident that the parents will fully appreciate the discipline and character the KickFit Tae Kwon-Do training will develop in their child.

Recognising Achievement

Our curriculum specialises in critical thinking development, respect for self and others, fitness and fun, along with award winning self-defence. In addition to the four themes children can earn reward stars to display on their uniform. By earning a reward the child will have improved their character.
