Use a countdown system for getting ready: “45 mins, 30 mins, 15 mins, 5 mins…. Ready To Go”
Let your child know they will be going to class and when you want them changed, ready to leave for lesson.
Try and stick to the same class schedule each week
If playing outside, change to an activity that calms your child, ready for class.
Drink water frequently during the day to aid focus.
On the way to class, tell your child the positive changes you have seen in them since attending KickFit classes.
Avoid letting your child fall asleep in the car on the way to class!
Stay and watch class. On the way home, ask them to tell you what they did in class. What was their favourite part?
